Literal Button: Documentation

The LiteralButton is an ActiveX control which was built in Visual Basic. It provides a simple API to the programmer. Most properties should be self-explanatory to VB users; the following properties and public subroutines are specific to this control and have been described:

Usage Notes

In order for the real-time thread animation to work properly, the control must constantly redraw itself. When you add the control to your form, inside the control's mouseMove event routine, be sure to add the line:

[literalButtonName].color = vb_Green;

This will cause the button to redraw and display the threading properly.
